SOCIO-ECONOMIC FACTORS INFLUENCE THE INCOME GENERATING PROJECTS

Various socio-economic cross currents decide different income generating plans.Levels of literacy vary from place to place according to the local demand. However, it is gradually improving as more efforts are being given to eradicate illiteracy .Various Non-formal educations are introduced along with the formal education. People have realised the need of education but there is a tendency of such educational courses which will generate more income .So when it is the question of continuing of education they look for courses which will open avenues of income to them . Realisation has come that literacy helps to achieve skill. This driving force gives birth to the aspiration for a better living standard through acquisition of different skills and abilities for the sake of earning more. If this target is achieved that will stop many social problems like migration to town and bring people above the poverty level .Thus a balance could be maintained between village and town. Industrial evolution could not meet the need of common people as that too has its own negative aspects .Development of an individual does not indicate any social growth. Common people if form self-help groups or co-operative and work together that will definitely give rise to a significant growth of rural society .
